    • New compounds corresponding to the formula:

      IN WHICH R1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, or lower alkenyl; R2 is alkyl, lower alkenyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl or substituted phenyl in which the substituents are lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, nitro or halogen; and R3 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl having 3 to 4 carbon atoms, inclusive, halogenated lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, furyl or benzyl; provided that when R1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl R3 is other than lower alkyl and further provided that when R1 is hydrogen and R2 is methyl, R3 is other than hydrogen, halogenated lower alkyl, cycloalkyl or lower alkenyl. The above-defined compounds are effective herbicides, particularly for the control of grasses and broadleaf plants with both pre-emergence and post-emergence activity. Representative compounds are: 3''-(N-n,propylcarbamoyloxy)cyclopropane carboxanilide, 3''-(N-n-butylcarbamoyloxy)crotonanilide, 3''-(Nethylcarbamoyloxy)furoyl anilide, 3''-(N,N-diallylcarbamoyloxy) propionanilide, 3''-(N-n-propylcarbamoyloxy)vinylacetanilide and 3''-(N-i-propylcarbamoyloxy)2-bromo isobutyranilide.

    • Compounds of the formula WHEREIN X is a member selected from the group consisting of oxygen, sulfur, imino, phenylimino, chlorophenylimino, alkylimino containing from one to eight carbon atoms, inclusive, and alkenylimino containing two to four carbon atoms, inclusive, R is selected from the group WHEREIN R1 and R2, individually, are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl containing from one to 10 carbon atoms, inclusive, hydroxyalkyl containing from one to four carbon atoms, inclusive, alkenyl containing from two to four carbon atoms, inclusive, cycloalkyl containing from four to six carbon atoms, inclusive, phenyl, and R1 and R2 jointly are a divalent alkylene radical containing four to six carbon atoms, inclusive, and R3 is selected from the group lower alkyl, chlorophenyl lower alkyl, and 3,4,4-trifluoro-3-butenyl. The above compounds are effective herbicides and nematocides. Representative compounds are S-(3,4,4-trifluoro-3-butenyl) N-methyl dithiocarbamate, S,Sbis-(3,4,4--trifluoro-3-butenyl N-ethylimino dithiocarbonate, 3,4,4-trifluoro-3-butenyl ethyl trithiocarbonate, S-(3,4,4trifluoro-3-butenyl)-N-phenyl-N-methyl isothiourea.
    • 式WHEREIN X的化合物是选自氧，硫，亚氨基，苯基亚氨基，氯苯基亚氨基，含有1至8个碳原子的烷基亚氨基和包含2至4个碳原子的烯基亚氨基的成员，其中R选自 单独地，基团R 1和R 2分别选自氢，含有1至10个碳原子的烷基，包括含有1至4个碳原子的羟烷基，包括含有2至4个碳原子的烯基， 包括4至6个碳原子的环烷基，包括苯基，R 1和R 2共同是含有4-6个碳原子的二价亚烷基，R3选自低级烷基，氯苯基低级烷基和3 ，4,4-三氟-3-丁烯基。 上述化合物是有效的除草剂和杀线虫剂。 代表性的化合物是S-（3,4,4-三氟-3-丁烯基）N-甲基二硫代氨基甲酸酯，S，S-双 - （3,4,4-三氟-3-丁烯基N-乙基亚氨基二硫代碳酸酯，3,4 ，4-三氟-3-丁烯基乙基三硫代碳酸酯，S-（3,4,4-三氟-3-丁烯基）-N-苯基-N-甲基异硫脲。
