摘要： A method includes receiving, at a first device via a first radio, a trigger from a second device, the first device configured for wireless communication using multiple radios sharing a clock, the multiple radios comprising the first radio and a second radio, the trigger including a timing indication. The method also includes determining, based on the timing indication in the trigger and a time of reception of the trigger, a timing of one or more operations of a radio of the second device for a discovery session between the first device and the second device. The method further includes starting the discovery session with the second device based on the determined timing of the one or more operations.

摘要： Various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and an apparatus for communicating by using multiple frequency bands of an electronic device in a wireless communication system. The electronic device comprises: a first wireless communication circuit configured to perform wireless communication with at least one external electronic device by using a first frequency band; a second wireless communication circuit configured to perform wireless communication with the at least one external electronic device by using a second frequency band; and a processor functionally connected with the first wireless communication circuit and the second wireless communication circuit. The processor is configured to establish a wireless connection with the at least one external electronic device based on the first frequency band by using the first wireless communication circuit; determine whether it is possible to establish a wireless connection with the at least one external electronic device based on the second frequency band by using the second wireless communication circuit, during establishment of the wireless connection with the at least one electronic device based on the first frequency band; when it is not possible to establish a wireless connection with the at least one external electronic device based on the second frequency band according to the determining, perform data communication with the at least one external electronic device based on the first frequency band; and when it is possible to establish a wireless connection with the at least one external electronic device based on the second frequency band, perform data communication with the at least one external electronic device based on the second frequency band.

The method of the electronic device includes, while the electronic device operates as a master of the NAN cluster based on a first master preference, transmitting discovery signals outside of DWs by using the Wi-Fi communication circuitry; while transmitting the discovery signals outside of the DWs, determining to switch a state of the processor from a wake-up state to a sleep state; based on the determination, changing control information for the NAN cluster by using the processor that is in the wake-up state, wherein the changed control information for the NAN cluster includes data regarding a second master preference distinct from the first master preference; after providing the changed control information to the Wi-Fi communication circuitry by using the processor, switching the state of the processor to the sleep state; and while the processor is in the sleep state switched from the wake-up state, transmitting the changed control information that includes the data regarding the second master preference by using the Wi-Fi communication circuitry.
