摘要： An airbag includes: an airbag body formed in a bag shape with an occupant-side panel facing an occupant and an opposite-side panel facing a steering wheel in a deployed state; and a flow regulator arranged inside the airbag body and configured to regulate a direction of flow of gas supplied from an inflator. The flow regulator includes: a flow-regulator body arranged such that at least part of the flow-regulator body faces the inflator; fixed portions provided at mutually separated positions on the flow-regulator body and fixed to the opposite-side panel; and a notch provided between the fixed portions in a recessed shape toward a center of the flow-regulator body and forming a gas passage port between the notch and the opposite-side panel, the gas passage port being a port through which the gas supplied from the inflator flows.

It possible to uniformly generate stress on both faces of the steel plate 31 in contraction at the time of molding while ensuring sufficient strength against the expansion pressure of the airbag, so that it is possible to suppress deformation in a cooling process after the molding and dimensional stability is high. The peripheral wall portion 22 is able to ensure sufficient strength even when it is integrally formed with each resin layer 32 of the base plate portion 21 in the form of a single layer.

摘要： A spacer is interposed between a rim core metal and an electronic part, so that the electronic part can be easily disposed. An opening is formed in the spacer such that the opening is positioned to face an overflow portion that is formed in a mold for molding of a resin layer and that is provided for a fluid synthetic resin raw material to overflow. Even when air bubbles are generated in the synthetic resin raw material between the spacer and a core metal, the synthetic resin raw material overflowing to the overflow portion can easily eject the air bubbles to the overflow portion via the opening and the air bubbles can be prevented from remaining in the resin layer.

摘要： A steering wheel includes a steering wheel body including at least two insertion openings, and an airbag module including at least two hooks inserted into the insertion openings. The hooks are held by wires so that the airbag module is supported by the steering wheel body. Either the at least two hooks or the at least two insertion holes are provided with adjustment ribs which come into contact with the other ones of the at least two hooks and the at least two openings, thereby regulating the positions of the other ones, so as to receive the weight of the airbag module applied to the steering wheel body. Accordingly, a decrease in positioning performance of the airbag module is prevented, so as to regulate the position of the airbag module in the steering wheel body with high accuracy.
