    • A height adjustable seatpost assembly is provided with first and second tubes, a ratchet mechanism and a drive source. The first and second tubes are telescopically arranged. The ratchet mechanism includes a ratchet tooth structure and a pawl structure. The pawl structure is engaged with the ratchet tooth structure in a lock position. The pawl structure is movably coupled with respect to the ratchet tooth structure in a movable position such that the first and second tubes are movably arranged relative to each other in at least one axial direction of the first and second tubes. The drive source moves the pawl structure between the lock position and the movable position in response to operation of the drive source. The drive source further axially moves the first and second tubes relative to each other in response to operation of the drive source.

    • A bicycle shifting control apparatus is provided with a gear selection signal receiving section, a gearshift determination section and a gearshift output section. The gear selection signal receiving section selectively receives a first gear selection signal and a first/second gear selection signal. The gearshift determination section determines a first rider shift intention for first gear shifting when the first gear selection signal is received, which meets a first signal criteria, and determines a second rider shift intention for performing second gear shifting in addition to the first shifting when the first/second gear selection signal is received by, which meets a second (different) signal criteria. The gearshift output section outputs a first gearshift signal upon determining the first rider shift intention or the second rider shift intention exists and outputs a second gearshift signal upon determining that the second rider shift intention exists.

    • A bicycle motor control apparatus includes a bicycle crank position detecting device, a bicycle crank position determining section, a stop determining section and a motor control section. The bicycle crank position detecting device detects a position of a bicycle crank. The bicycle crank position determining section determines if the bicycle crank is in a prescribed region including a bottom dead center position based on a detection result from the bicycle crank position detecting device. The stop determining section that determines a stopped state indicative of at least one a bicycle crank stopped state and a bicycle stopped state. The motor control section selectively outputs a motor driving command and stops the output of the motor driving command during a period in which the bicycle crank position determining section determines that the bicycle crank is in the prescribed region and the stop determining section determines that the stopped state exists.
