    • A partial-fitting prevention connector which can be positively fitted relative to a mating connector, and is prevented from being only partially fitted relative to the mating connector. When the partial-fitting prevention connector (1) is fitted relative to a mating connector (2), a retaining member (25), formed on a lock member (22), abuts against a retaining projection (34) formed on the mating connector (2), and the lock member (22) is pushed against the bias of a spring (23) in a rearward direction away from the mating connector. After the lock member has moved a predetermined distance, lock release projections (26a and 26b), formed on the lock member (22), slide over lock release projections (42a and 42b) formed on a support structure (41), thereby pivotally moving the lock member (22). When the fitting operation is further continued, the lock member (22) is urged by the spring (23) in the forward direction toward the mating connector and engages the retaining projection (34) to thereby retain the connectors to each other.

    • A press-contact connector 10 has a first member 20 which accommodates a plurality of terminals 21 having press-contact blades 21a and a second member 30 which is attached to the first member 20 and holds a plurality of wires 11 in an aligned state. The second member 30 has a plurality of retaining portions 31 capable of retaining the wires 11 respectively, formed in an approximate U shape and arranged in parallel to one another. The retaining portion 31 has claw portions 33 which are provided at inner walls 32 to lock the wire 11 in such a way as to contact with a bottom portion 31a of the retaining portion 31, and lances 34 which are provided at serial directional ends of each retaining portion 31 to urge the wire 11 in the direction of the opening of the retaining portion 31 in a cross section. Since each wire 11 is held bent by the cooperation of the claw portions 33 with the lances 34, compatibility with automation is possible and the wires 11 can be held sufficiently.

    • A wiring unit 1 with a plurality of printed circuit boards 2 which are successively stacked and pin units 3. The printed circuit boards 2 each has a conductor pattern 7 formed on the surface 6a of an insulating plate 6. The conductor pattern 7 is composed of a first plurality of belt-like conductors 11 and a second plurality of belt-like conductors 12. Through-holes 13 are formed at points 14 where the belt-like conductors 11 and 12 cross each other. The pin units 21 each is composed of a conductive pin 20 and a C-bush 21. The C-bush 21 is provided with a pair of spring segment segments 24. The C-bush 21 is press-fit into the through-hole 13 to sandwich the printed circuit board 2 between the pair of spring segments 24. The C-bush 21 is communicated with the conductor pattern 7. The pin 20 is inserted into the through-hole 13 into which the C-bush 21 is press-fit. The conductive pin 20 is communicated with the C-bush 21. In this configuration, the wiring unit can be minimized in production cost and size.

The insulating plate 2 has a terminal groove 5 concaved from the surface, an accommodating portion 6 and a through-hole 7. The through-hole 7 passes through the insulating plate 2 and communicates with the accommodating portion 6. The crimping terminal 3 is composed of the electric-wire connecting portion 13 on which the electric wire is crimped and an electric-wire connecting portion 14. The insulating plates 2 are stacked while holding the crimping terminals 3. The electric contact portions 14 of the crimping terminals 3 held in the adjacent lower and upper insulating plates 2 are not superposed. The electric contact portion 14 of the crimping terminal 3 held in the lower insulating plate 2 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 6 via the through-hole 7 of the upper insulating plate 2. In this configuration, the wiring unit can be miniaturized.
