摘要： A sealed type cell which has disposed in the case thereof an electrochemical element so designed as to enable ionization of oxygen and generation of oxygen caused by overcharging to take place cyclically and whose internal resistance depends upon the pressure of oxygen, said electro-chemical element including an oxygen ionizing electrode whose terminal is connected to the negative electrode of the cell and an oxygen generating electrode whose terminal is connected to the positive electrode of the cell, and which can be charged with a large current in a short period of time and is free from degradation of the large current discharge characteristics.
