    • A tension mask frame assembly for a color cathode ray tube (CRT) includes a frame and a tension mask installed to apply tension to the support members, and wherein a plurality of electron beam passing holes are formed. The frame includes; a pair of first and second support members separated by a predetermined distance; first and second elastic members installed between the first and second support members, and supporting the first and second support members; and first, second, third, and fourth holder units installed on the first and second support members and the first and second elastic members, and respectively including first, second, third, and fourth holders and first, second, third, and fourth springs fixed to the first, second, third, and fourth holders. The thermal expansion coefficient of the material forming the third and fourth holders is no more than that of the material forming the first and second elastic members.

    • A cathode ray tube includes a color selection apparatus mounted between a phosphor screen and an electron gun, and support members for supporting the color selection apparatus. Each of the support members is formed by a spring including a fixed section secured to the color selection apparatus, a locking section connected to the cathode ray tube, and a center section formed between these elements. The fixed section and the center section are separated by and bent at a first folding trace, and the center section and the locking section are separated by and bent at a second folding trace. Also, if a direction along a width of the springs is X, the first folding trace has an angle θ1 with a straight line drawn on the fixed section along direction X, and the second folding trace has an angle θ2 with a straight line drawn on the center section along direction X, the angle θ2 is greater than the angle θ1.

    • An organic light emitting diode display includes a panel assembly for displaying an image and a first surface stress enhancing member arranged on a rear surface of the panel assembly. In one embodiment, the organic light emitting diode display includes a second surface stress enhancing member arranged on a front surface of the panel assembly. In anther embodiment, the organic light emitting diode display includes a lower bezel arranged on a rear surface of the first surface stress enhancing member and a shock absorption tape arranged between the first surface stress enhancing member and the lower bezel. The structure of the organic light emitting diode display efficiently prevents damages caused by an external impact.
