The design assistance device for software generates a first data flow expressing the block diagrams and their connective relation by using nodes and links; generates a second data flow expressing the dependent relation among functions or variables in the source code by utilizing nodes and links; and finds and outputs the coincidence between the first data flow and second data flow.
