    • A biopsy tissue sampling treatment instrument includes a stem portion having a predetermined length sufficient to puncture living tissue; a puncturing portion formed at a distal end of the stem portion and having a protruding surface portion expanding rearward along a puncture direction of the stem portion; a tissue holding surface provided on a rear side of the protruding surface portion in the puncturing portion and having an area large enough to hold the living tissue; a stopper member provided at a rear end of the stem portion and having an abutting portion capable of abutting against the living tissue punctured by the stem portion; and an operating member provided on the stopper member and configured to hold the stem portion to the living tissue, allowing the stem portion to puncture the living tissue. Consequently, the biopsy tissue sampling treatment instrument increases holding capacity for the living tissue to be extracted, allows living tissue to be extracted in sufficient sampling quantities, and makes it easy to take samples of living tissue at an intended depth in tissue.

    • The internal diameter measurement device is inserted into a cavity to measure its internal diameter. The internal diameter measurement device includes: a tubular sheath inserted into the cavity; a balloon which is provided on a distal end portion of the sheath, and is capable of expanding by supplying a fluid to an inner portion thereof; a linear reference member having a first end portion fixed to the distending portion or the distal end portion of the insertion portion, and a second end portion moving towards the distal end of the insertion portion in conjunction with the expansion of the distending portion; and a measuring portion which is provided in a proximal end portion of the insertion portion and is capable of confirming the position of the second end portion of the reference member. This internal diameter measurement device enables accurate measurement irrespectively of dimensions of a pipeline to be measured.

    • A puncture needle for an endoscope includes: a flexible sheath; a needle component that is placed on an interior side of the sheath such that it can move freely forwards and backwards; a wire that is provided at a base end portion of the needle component, and that moves the needle component forwards or backwards along an axial direction of the sheath; and an operating section that is connected to an operating side of the sheath, and operates the wire. This wire is formed by a metal material that has elasticity, and a bent portion is provided in the wire that generates friction against an inner wall of the operating section, and imparts resistance to the forwards and backwards movement of the needle component.

    • The internal diameter measurement device is inserted into a cavity to measure its internal diameter.
