摘要： A flame-retardant polyester resin composition includes a thermoplastic polyester resin, between 1 to 30 wt. % of an organic halogenated flame-retardant, between 5 to 60 wt. % of an inorganic filler, and between 0.5 to 20 wt. % of a phosphoric ester of the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R represents a divalent organic group, R' which may be the same or different, is selected from C.sub.1 to C.sub.20 aliphatic groups, C.sub.3 to C.sub.13 alicyclic groups and C.sub.6 to C.sub.18 aromatic groups, m represents a number of 1 to 30, and n represents an integer of 0 to 3.

摘要： The polyacetal resin composition contains about 0.01–10 parts by weight of a glyoxyldiureide compound per 100 parts by weight of polyacetal resin. The glyoxyldiureide compound includes glyoxyldiureide and its derivatives (metal salts etc.). Optionally, about 0.01–10 parts by weight of a basic nitrogen-containing compound is further added. The basic nitrogen-containing compound includes melamine, melamine resin, and polyamide resin. Further, an antioxidant may be further added. The above composition contributes to stability, particularly heat stability, of polyacetal resin and suppression of emission of formaldehyde.

The phenol component (B1) may be a novolak phenol-series resin, a phenol aralkyl-series resin, a polyvinyl phenol-series resin, a polyhydric phenol, a polyphenol, a catechin compound, or a lignin. The amino acid (B2) may be an α-amino acid, a β-amino acid, a γ-amino acid, a δ-amino acid, or a derivative of an amino acid. The polyacetal resin composition may further contain an antioxidant, a heat stabilizer, a processing stabilizer, a weather (light)-resistant stabilizer, or a coloring agent. The polyacetal resin composition ensures marked inhibition of formaldehyde emission.

The presence of the phosphorus ester in the specifically defined polymer blend has been found to greatly impede the formation of deleterious mold deposits, and to make possible the formation of quality molded articles on an expeditious basis having good mechanical properties.
