One such resource is a suitable place to park a vehicle including automobile, motorcycle, and bicycle. Finding parking can be a significant challenge in population dense environments. Certain embodiments of the present invention are configured to assist users with quickly and efficiently finding a parking slot near his or her location or destination. The system may be configured to generate parking slot suggestions based on one or more of a wide range of individual or group preference criteria. Advantageously, facilitating quick and efficient parking reduces traffic congestion and pollution.
