    • A method is disclosed for using cell load coupling (CLC) to manage a radio communications network (RCN), comprising cells and radio network nodes associated with the cells. The method comprises determining a CLC characteristic between a first and second of the cells. The determining is based on a cell load contribution that is dependent on a measure of: a signal received by a receiving node of the first cell from a transmitting node of the first cell, a signal received by the receiving node from a transmitting node of the second cell, and traffic between the receiving node and the transmitting node of the first cell. One or more network management functions may be performed on the RCN based on the determined CLC characteristics. The method and/or the functions may be implemented by a computer program, a wireless communications device or a network node.

    • A wireless device (24) receives a reference signal over a radio channel (21). The reference signal may be Positioning Reference Signals (PRS) and/or Common Referencing Signals (CRS), and may be transmitted from a transmitter (22). The wireless device (24) comprises a correlator (100); a reference signal detector (102); a threshold selector (106); and a reference signal analyzer (108). The correlator (100) use a signal received from the radio channel (21) and a replica of the reference signal to provide a correlator output value. The reference signal detector (102) compares the correlator output value with a threshold value to detect presence of a reference signal, and to estimate an arrival time of the reference signal. The threshold selector (106) adapts the threshold value to at least an estimate of a relative amount of noise and interference power in the received signal.

    • The present disclosure relates to a method in a measuring node and a measuring node for handling measurements performed on signals received over a wireless interface in a wireless communication system. The method comprises performing (202) measurements on the received signals according to a first measurement configuration, detecting (204) that a change from the first measurement configuration to a second measurement configuration has occurred, performing (206) measurements on the received signals according to the second measurement configuration, and using (210) the measurements performed according to the first measurement configuration and the measurements performed according to the second measurement configuration for radio resource management tasks.     • Presented is a system and methods for allowing the translation the civic address portion of a positioning message to different languages. The positioning message can be in response to an Emergency-911 call providing much better information regarding the location of the caller associated with the user equipment on a wireless network. The positioning message can contain an indicator of the originating language or a translation of the language from the originating language to the preferred or required language of the destination address. The positioning message can also contain a series of translated messages representing all the languages supported by the wireless network.
