    • A waterproof connector includes annular plug receiving chambers formed within a connector housing in surrounding relation respectively to outer peripheral surfaces of insulating sheaths of wires, and are disposed adjacent respectively to terminal receiving chambers in a longitudinal direction of the wires, plugs received respectively in the plug receiving chambers, and a cover attached to the connector housing from a side of the other end portions of the wires, covering the plug receiving chambers. The plug includes an annular elastic rubber member and an annular resin member molded integrally with the rubber member in concentric relation thereto. An inner peripheral surface of the rubber member is held in contact with a part of the outer peripheral surface of the insulating sheath of the wire over an entire periphery thereof, while an outer peripheral surface of the rubber member is held in contact with an inner peripheral surface of a peripheral wall of the plug receiving chamber over an entire periphery thereof.

    • An inverter (apparatus), to which two motors are connected, or a connecting structure of the inverter and the motors is made compact. A direct mounting connector to be directly mounted on an apparatus, includes: six independent busbars 21-26 for connecting the apparatus to two auxiliary machines for three-phase alternating current; two first terminal parts 11, 12 of U-pole, two first terminal parts 13, 14 of V-pole and two first terminal parts 15, 16 of W-pole of three-phase alternating current, altogether the six first terminal parts 11-16 being connected to the apparatus and formed at first ends of the respective six busbars 21-26, the two first terminal parts of the same pole are arranged adjacently to each other; and two sets 31-33 and 34-36, each set of which consists of a second terminal part of U-pole, a second terminal part of V-pole and a second terminal part of W-pole, altogether the six second terminal parts being connected to the two auxiliary machines and formed at second ends of the respective six busbars, the two sets being arranged adjacently to each other having a distance therebetween.     • A male tab terminal has an O-ring mounting portion formed between its wire connection portion and its electrical contact portion, and this O-ring mounting portion is surrounded by an opening peripheral surface of an O-ring receiving step portion of a female connector housing which defines an opening of a male terminal receiving chamber. An O-ring, mounted on the O-ring mounting portion of the male tab terminal, is held in intimate contact with an outer peripheral surface of the O-ring mounting portion over an entire periphery thereof, and also is held in intimate contact with the opening peripheral surface of the O-ring receiving step portion over an entire periphery thereof. When a female connector and a male connector are fitted together, the O-ring is directly clamped between the female connector housing and a male connector housing in a direction of fitting of the female and male connectors, and is pressed by the two connector housings.
