    • In order to provide a seal arrangement for sealing between a first medium space filled with a first medium and a second medium space filled with a second medium which ensures reliable sealing between the medium spaces with very low leakage values even over a prolonged period of use, wherein said seal arrangement comprises a moveable component which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction thereof and/or rotatable about the longitudinal direction thereof and extends through the seal arrangement and wherein the seal arrangement comprises a sealing element which comprises a first sealing region that is sealing in relation to the first medium space and a second sealing region that is sealing in relation to the second medium space, wherein the first sealing region comprises a first dynamic sealing section abutting against the moveable component and the second sealing region comprises a second dynamic sealing section abutting against the moveable component and at least one of the two dynamic sealing sections has at least two sealing lips, it is proposed that each of the two sealing regions should comprise at least one respective spring element which biases the dynamic sealing section of the respective sealing region against the moveable component.

The piston pump has a piston which is driven to execute a stroke motion, and two check valves as an inlet valve and outlet valve for controlling the fluid flow through the piston pump. The outlet valve has a valve closing spring that effects a fast closure of the outlet valve. To enable completely evacuating a positive displacement chamber of the piston pump, the invention includes connecting an evacuation valve, embodied as a springless check valve with a small diameter and with a lightweight valve closing body, hydraulically parallel to the outlet valve.

    • A brake system including an apparatus for limiting drive slip at drivable vehicle wheels by feeding brake pressure into wheel brakes associated with these vehicle wheels. The brake pressure is generated in a pressure modulator having a spring-loaded stepped piston including a primary piston. The primary piston can be acted upon by pressure fuid from a supply container by a motor which drives a pump. A secondary piston of the stepped piston effects the brake pressure and feeds it via a valve assembly into a brake line extending between the master brake cylinder of the brake system and a wheel brake. The brake pressure can be diminished by controlling the drive motor of the pump. The pump is embodied with reversible pumping directions, and the pressure fluid flows through it both during a working stroke and a return stroke of the stepped piston. The valve assembly is actuatable by the stepped piston as a function of the position thereof. The apparatus uses the pump drive alone in order to generate brake pressure, and uses the position of the stepped piston to actuate the valve assembly. This makes it possible to dispense with magnetic valves.
