    • An arrangement for heating the service cabin of a motor vehicle having a work implement thereon for use such as in agriculture or earth moving includes an oil distribution system having a hydraulic pump for feeding the oil from an oil reservoir associated with the vehicle and through oil conduits back to the reservoir. The oil is heated during operation of a hydraulic apparatus provided for operating the work implement which is coupled into the oil conduit for heating the service cabin area. An operating element in the form of a throttle is coupled in parallel into the oil conduits, and a return conduit leads from the throttle to the oil reservoir via the heat exchanger. A selectively operated valve in the conduits is provided for valving the oil from the reservoir to the hydraulic apparatus or to the operating element for selectively heating the oil fed through the heat exchanger.RELATED APPLICATIONSThis application relates to U.S. Ser. No. 123,169, filed Feb. 20, 1980 and to U.S. Ser. No. 165,083 filed 7/1/80, both commonly owned herewith.

    • An arrangement for heating the service cabin of a machine driven by an internal combustion engine, includes a hydraulic pump which is driven by the engine and which pumps oil from the engine's oil reservoir and through an operating element, as for example a throttle, located between the hydraulic pump and the heat exchanger. The heat produced in the operating element and in the hydraulic pump effects an increase in temperature of the oil before reaching a heat exchanger, located in the service cabin, through which the heated oil is returned to the oil reservoir. The pumped oil may be selectively valved directly back into the oil reservoir for quickly heating the oil of the engine, and the hydraulic pump may be arranged for the taking of oil from the pressurized oil lines of the engine's lubricating oil distribution system rather than directly from the oil reservoir. The oil may bypass the heat exchanger through a pressure release valve so that the volume of oil heated by the operating element and by the hydraulic pump may be regulated to thereby regulate the temperature of the heat exchanger. Moreover, if the oil is sufficiently heated by the engine and by the hydraulic pump, it may be made to bypass the operating element by selective valving and, valving which is provided for returning the pumped oil directly to the oil reservoir and for bypassing the operating element may be thermostatically connected to either the oil reservoir or to the heat exchanger for controlling operation of the valves depending on the change in temperature of the oil at the oil reservoir or at the heat exchanger.

    • This invention relates to a system of heating the service or operator's cabin of a machine, such as a mobil crane, or the like, or a motor vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine comprising a hydraulic pump, a heat exchanger located in the service cabin or in the hot-air supply line thereof, a heat generator connected between the pump and the heat exchanger in the oil circuit of the internal combustion engine having suction and return oil lines respectively extending from the pump and from the heat exchanger to an oil sump of the engine, an oil line by-passing the heat generator and being controlled by a directional control valve, and an oil line by-passing the heat exchanger and being controlled by a control mechanism.

    • A disc brake, especially for motor vehicles, which preferably has two pressure discs which by means of antifriction or sliding bodies arranged in recesses provided with inclined or crowned surfaces rest against each other. When turning the pressure discs in counter-current direction with regard to each other, the anti-friction or sliding bodies move onto the surfaces of the recesses, spread apart the pressure discs against the thrust of return springs, and press the brake discs, which are axially displaceable on a shaft to be braked, against associated braking surfaces. The pressure discs are guided in a housing by means of at least three guiding elements distributed over the circumference of the housing. Each pressure disc has associated therewith an abutment for limiting the turning movement of the pressure discs. The guiding members, which respectively resist a tilting of the pressure discs about the pertaining abutments, are radially adjustable. The radially adjustable guiding members are designed as guiding elements adjustable tangentially with regard to the pertaining pressure discs.
