In an implementation, the diagnosis method includes: transceiving packets of a suspected failure node and its neighboring nodes within a period of time are monitored; the monitored packets are parsed, to obtain types, sources and signal strengths of the packets; a status of the suspected failure node is determined according to the obtained types, sources and signal strengths of the packets; and the determined status of the suspected failure node is displayed. Hence, a cause for a node failure is diagnosed without changing an original network and without limiting on hardware and software of a node within the network.

The method includes: acquiring channel-related information on a coordinator and terminal equipment in communication with the coordinator; selecting multiple indices in the channel-related information, and calculating statistical values of the multiple indices in a predetermined period of time; and performing trouble diagnosis by using the statistical values and pre-stored training data, so as to obtain a trouble diagnosis result corresponding to the period of time. In the embodiments of this disclosure, by collecting the channel-related information on the coordinator and the terminal equipment in communication with the coordinator, doing statistics on the collected channel-related information, so as to perform trouble diagnosis by using a machine learning method, which may diagnose different troubles, and network service providers may make some countermeasures to solve the problem or avoid potential problems accordingly.

By changing a slot assignment in a larger network into independent slot assignments in smaller networks, a slot assignment problem resulting from a large number of nodes may be solved.

In an implementation, the apparatus for deploying includes: detecting receiving power of all neighboring nodes during movement of a relay node taken as a node to be deployed, and taking a predetermined number of neighboring nodes which have joined in a network, are capable of communicating with a sink node and have relatively high receiving power, in all the neighboring nodes as flag nodes of the relay node; comparing a sum of receiving power of all detected flag nodes with a deployment prompt decision interval; and performing a corresponding prompt according to a comparison result. Hence, connectivity between all sensor nodes and a sink node in the wireless sensor network may be achieved.
