    • Provided is a soundproof structure that is small and light and can reduce a noise with a high specific frequency of a sound source at a plurality of frequencies at the same time. The soundproof structure has a membrane-like member, a plate-like member that is disposed to face the membrane-like member and in which at least one through-hole is formed, and a support that is formed of a rigid body and supports the plate-like member and the membrane-like member, in which the membrane-like member is supported by the support so as to perform membrane vibration, in which a rear surface space is provided between the membrane-like member and the plate-like member, in which a first space is provided on a side opposite to the rear surface space with the plate-like member sandwiched therebetween, in which the membrane-like member, the support, the plate-like member, and the rear surface space form a first sound absorbing portion that absorbs a sound by membrane vibration, in which the plate-like member, the support, and the first space form a second sound absorbing portion that absorbs a sound by Helmholtz resonance, and in which assuming that a fundamental frequency of membrane vibration of the membrane-like member in a case where the plate-like member is regarded as a rigid body in which the through-hole is not formed in the first sound absorbing portion is fm1 and a fundamental frequency of Helmholtz resonance of the second sound absorbing portion is fh1, fm1

    • Provided is a range hood that is small, that can reliably provide the flow path for waste smoke, that has high soundproof performance, and that allows oil stains and the like to be easily removed. The range hood includes: a suction portion that has a suction opening and that sucks air from below in a vertical direction; a connection opening connected to the suction portion; a duct portion that conveys air sucked from the connection opening and discharges the air from a discharge opening to an outside; an air blowing mechanism that is disposed in the duct portion and that moves air in the duct portion to the discharge opening; and a flow regulation plate that is disposed in the suction opening of the suction portion or is disposed so as to cover a part of the suction opening. A distance between the suction portion and the flow regulation plate is 110 mm or smaller. The range hood has at least one soundproof structure on a surface of the flow regulation plate on the suction portion side between the flow regulation plate and the suction portion.

    • An acoustic system includes a duct that has a function of causing a fluid to flow therein and has a tubular shape, an internal sound source that is disposed inside the duct on an upstream side or at an outer peripheral portion of the duct, which communicates with an inside of the duct on the upstream side, or an external sound source that is on an outside from an end portion of the duct, and a membrane-shaped member that is formed as a part of a wall of the duct and vibrates in response to sound. A structure including the membrane-shaped member and a rear surface closed space thereof causes acoustic resonance to occur, transmits the acoustic resonance from the sound source into the duct, and suppresses sound radiated from the other end portion of the duct on a downstream side. The external sound source is at a distance within a wavelength at a frequency of the acoustic resonance on the outside from the end portion of the duct. In the acoustic system, as a small membrane-type resonance structure is disposed in a flow passage horizontal direction, wind does not directly hit a membrane surface perpendicularly, and since the acoustic system does not have a through hole or a hole, wind noise can be eliminated.
