    • An alarm notification apparatus includes an event detector for monitoring vital information of a body, such as a blood pressure and electrocardiogram, to check whether an anomalous event has occurred to the body. A reliability evaluator evaluates reliability of a result of detection of the anomalous event in the event detector. A notifier selects at least one addressee according to the reliability among plural predetermined addressees, and notifies the selected addressee of occurrence of the anomalous event. Preferably, a storage area is used for storing error log data expressing a false detection of an anomalous event in spite of non-occurrence of an anomalous event. Assuming that the event detector detects the anomalous event, the reliability evaluator obtains the reliability according to the error log data. Thus, it is possible to reduce influence of the false detection due to measurement artifact.

    • When a notice of medication completion, which indicates completion of medication to a patient, is transmitted from an electronic medical chart server, a medication effect information transmission device collects medication effect information relating to a medication effect on the patient from an image server and an electronic medical chart server. The medication effect information transmission device transmits and stores the collected medication effect information to a medication effect information database. A client terminal searches a medication effect information server on a basis of a drug's name and attribute data of the patient. The medication effect information server transmits average medication effect information, which represents an average medication effect of the designated drug, to the client terminal. The client terminal displays the average medication effect information in a time series on a monitor.

    • In the clinical pathway management device, if a request for change that requires the change of the content of a clinical pathway is received, with reference to schedule data, it is determined whether or not there is an overlap between hospital resources assigned to a treatment included in a clinical pathway as a target of change and hospital resources assigned to a treatment included in other clinical pathways different from the clinical pathway as a target of change in a case where the clinical pathway is changed according to the request for change. In a case where there is no overlap, the clinical pathway is changed according to the request for change. In a case where there is an overlap because of the change of at least either the clinical pathway as a target of change or other clinical pathways described above, plural kinds of plans of change for avoiding the overlap are generated. Thereafter, a degree of influence, which is obtained by numerically expressing an extent of change made according to each of the plans of change, of each of the plans of change is calculated. Then, the clinical pathway is changed according to a plan of change with a minimal degree of influence.
