This displacement of the intermediate lever is transferred to a fuel supply rate adjustment member of a fuel injection pump to which the intermediate lever is coupled, producing a negative adjustment of the fuel supply rate adjustment member, i.e., an adjustment which is in the direction of increasing fuel supply as the angular speed of the governor increases.
