摘要： Disclosed herein is a composition comprising a crosslinked organic polymer; wherein the composition has a coefficient of friction that is in a range of ±30% of a coefficient of friction for a composition comprising the same organic polymer that is not crosslinked; and wherein the composition has a lower K factor than a K factor of the composition comprising the same organic polymer that is not crosslinked; the coefficient of friction and the K factor being measured in a thrust washer apparatus as per ASTM D-3702, where the counter stationary surface in the thrust washer apparatus comprises carbon steel having a Rockwell C hardness of 18 to 22 and a 12 to 16 micro-inch surface finish.

The crosslinking agent is thermally activated by annealing at a temperature proximate to the flow point of the thermoplastic composition to stabilize the dimensions of the article during service when compared with a similar article that contains the thermoplastic resin without the crosslinking agent or a similar article that contains the crosslinking agent but is thermally activated at a rate of greater than or equal to about 5 degrees centigrade per minute to the same temperature.

摘要： A flame retardant thermoplastic composition having excellent conductivity and physical properties that includes a thermoplastic resin, a flame retardant including a metal salt of phosphinic acid, disphosphinic acid, or a combination thereof and optionally at least one nitrogen compound selected from benzoguanine, terepthalic ester of tris(hydroxyethyl)isocyanurate, allontoin, glucoluril, melamine cyanurate, melamine phosphate, dimelamine phosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, melam, melem, melon and a mixture including at least one of the foregoing nitrogen compounds, an electrically conductive filler, and a reinforcing agent; wherein a molded sample of the thermoplastic composition that has been electrostatically painted is capable of achieving ASTM D3359 GT0 or GT1. The compositions are useful in forming articles capable of performing as metal replacements and/or being electrostatically painted.
