摘要： The disclosure relates to a null monitoring system for a digital incremental scale of the type including a weighing platform and a reticle assembly which provides first and second sinusoidal outputs 90.degree. out of phase for deriving counting pulses indicative of the weight of the load and the weighing platform position accurate to a single digital increment of the scale and the direction of movement of the weighing platform. The null monitoring system provides an analog indication of the actual position of the weighing platform within the digital increments for zero reference and calibration purposes.The null monitoring system includes combining means for combining the first and second sinusoidal outputs for providing first, second, third and fourth combined sinusoidal outputs, each having a 90.degree. quadrant with an instantaneous magnitude indicative of the position of the weighing platform within the digital increments, monitoring means for monitoring the magnitudes of the combined sinusoidal outputs, and counting means responsive to the counting pulses for selecting individual ones of the combined sinusoidal outputs during 90.degree. quadrants thereof to be monitored by the monitoring means.

摘要： Described herein is a method and apparatus for storing, on a product card, information relating to the description and the unit price of a product to be weighed, and for providing a label printer with the stored information as well as the total price of the product in a simple and reliable operation. Preferably, the invention makes use of a card reader for reading the information stored on the product card, a computer for storing the information and for calculating the total price of the weighed product. The information read from the product card and the total product price are transmitted to a label printer for printing thereof on a label. In its preferred form, the invention provides for the modification of the unit price information on the product card to reflect a manually set unit price.

摘要： The disclosure relates to a weighing and computing system for determining and displaying the total net price of a series of commodity items including items to be weighed for determining individual net prices from unit weight prices and items of fixed net prices which are not to be weighed. The system includes a weighing mechanism comprising a platform upon which a commodity item to be weighed is placed for providing reference and gross weight signals corresponding to the load on the platform with the reference weight signals corresponding to the total load of all previous commodities in the series which have been weighed and the gross weight signals corresponding to the total load of all said previous commodities weighed and the load of the next commodity in the series to be weighed and a selectively operable unit price means for providing a rate signal corresponding to a unit weight price for a commodity to be weighed or an item net price signal for a commodity of fixed net price. The system also includes a computer comprising reference weight memory means for storing reference weight signals developed by the weighing mechanism, subtracting means for determining the difference between the gross weight signals and the reference weight signals to provide a net weight for each commodity to be weighed, multiplying means responsive to the weight difference determination for multiplying each net weight by a corresponding rate signal for providing a net price for each of the weighed commodities and net price accumulating means for accumulating all of the net prices. The system further includes a display coupled to the net price accumulator for displaying the sum total of the net prices.In a preferred form, the system determines a plurality of average net weights during perdetermined time intervals until two consecutive average net weights are the same. At such times the system computes the net price of the commodity being weighed.
