摘要： A dispensing closure, including a horizontal deck, an aperture through the deck, and a collar depending below the aperture in the deck, is snapped over an annular bead on the neck of a molded plastic bottle. A stop wall, comprising a pair of ribs mounted for pivotal movement, is formed in the interior of the body of the closure; a gap is centrally located between the ribs. A radially projecting lug, which is triangular when viewed in side elevation, is formed on the sloping collar of the container; a dovetailed segment is defined at the free end of the lug. The collar on the closure has interrupted beads, so that the dispensing closure is secured to the container by snapping the interrupted beads over the annular bead on the neck of the container. The ribs of the stop wall flex pivotally outwardly when contacting the outer end of the lug. The dispensing closure is rotated relative to the container, in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction, so that the dovetailed segment of the lug projects into the central aperture in the stop wall; the free ends of the ribs engage the dovetailed segment and lock the closure into proper alignment with the container.

The latch protrusion and the latch recess define interfitting mating formations which engage to secure the cap to the closure body when the closure cap is in an open position.

摘要： A two piece, molded plastic dispenser, that functions with a push-pull motion, comprising an outer shell and an inner shell. The outer shell comprises a top wall with an aperture defined at its center, and a skirt of generally cylindrical shape. A plug seal extends below the top wall, and annular groove and bead are formed in the vicinity of the upper end of the inner surface of the skirt and the underside of the top wall. The inner shell comprises a top wall, a tapered spud extending upwardly from the top wall, an annular barrier encircling the spud, and a depending skirt. Detents and arcuate wall segments extend, in interspersed fashion, about the perimeter of the upper shell, and cooperate with the bead on the outer shell. Vertical ribs on the inner surface of the outer shell cooperate with serrations on the exterior surface of the inner shell to guide the relative movement of the outer shell, in a vertical direction, while preventing relative rotation between the shells. The contents of the container are discharged through apertures in the inner shell proximate to the spud to flow through the aperture in the outer shell. The plug seal and annular barrier, and the spud and aperture, are fully engaged, when the dispenser is closed, to provide leak-proof operation. The arcuate walls segments extend vertically above the detents to protect same, and the underside of the annular bead abuts a shoulder on each wall segment when the dispenser is closed.

摘要： A dispensing closure consisting of a cap with a cavity defined in its upper surface, and a spout to fit within the cavity. The spout has an enlarged base, and a central passage extending through the base and the remainder of the spout. Aligned trunnions are formed on the opposite sides of the base of the spout. An opening in the cap allows communication between the container upon which the cap is seated and the central passage in the spout. A pair of standards are integrally molded within the cavity in the cap, and one standard is situated on each side of the opening. A U-shaped bearing, with a slightly restricted opening, is located at the upper end of each standard and spaced fingers define the entrance into each bearing. The trunnions are forced downwardly into the opening in each bearing. The fingers deform momentarily to accept the trunnions and return to their unstressed condition to capture same, thus securing the spout to the cap and exerting a downwardly directed force upon the spout. The spout is mounted for pivotal movement between a closed position, and an opened position, which permits the discharge of the contents of the container. The sealing characteristics are materially improved by the addition of a flexible sealing flange surrounding the upper side of the opening through the cap.

The dispensing closure includes a closure body having an upper deck and a skirt depending from the upper deck. The skirt is configured and arranged to attach to a product container, such as a squeeze-type container. A flow conduit extends from an interior of the closure body and through the upper deck to provide a flow path from an interior of the closure to an exterior of the closure. The flow conduit has an entrance orifice and an exit orifice. The flow conduit has an inner wall extending between the entrance orifice and the exit orifice. The flow conduit and the closure body are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice defining a shape to provide a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment.

The dispensing closure includes a closure body, a living hinge and a lid. The lid includes a downwardly depending sidewall that has a thumb tab that extends down beyond the parting line of the lid and the closure body. A label wraps around the skirt and container neck. The label overlaps that portion of the thumb tab that extends below the parting line of the lid and body. When the thumb tub is lifted to open the container, the paper label is ripped in the area of the thumb tab to evidence opening.
