The third winding converts leakage inductance attributed to the first winding and the second winding to electrical energy that is provided to the half-bridge converting unit.

    • An electronic ballast includes a power factor corrector having an input side for receiving an AC input voltage from a voltage source, and including first and second power switches connected in series across an output side. Each of the first and second power switches is operable based on a corresponding one of a first and second control signals in one of an ON-state and an OFF-state. The power factor corrector is operable to output at the output side a boosted DC voltage output corresponding to the AC input voltage in response to operation of the first and second power switches. A buck circuit receives the boosted DC voltage output from the power factor, and is operable based on the boosted DC voltage output to output an AC voltage output in the form of an AC square wave signal to a high intensity discharge lamp.

    • A container for storing semiconductor devices is revealed. The container includes a receiving body, a seal plate, and a cover. At least one fastener and at least one driver are mounted in the receiving body. The seal plate is fastened under the receiving body and against the driver so as to fix the driver on the receiving body. When the driver is rotated, the fastener is driven to move in the receiving body by the driver. At least one fixing part of the fastener is moved toward at least one fastening part of the cover. By the fixing part locked in the fastening part, the cover is fixed on the receiving body. Thus a force opposite to the rotating shaft will not be generated around a periphery of the driver. Therefore stability of the rotating driver is improved and the container is opened and closed smoothly.
