摘要： A fluid oscillator suitable for use as an accelerometer is described, comprised of a piston and cylinder housing with a constant pressure applied to one end of the piston and a pressure that is a function of piston position on the other, the resultant forces acting on the piston and its inertia causing the piston to oscillate in the cylinder at a frequency that varies linearly with the external acceleration of the unit along the axis of the piston. The varying frequency of the pressure pulses at the one end of the piston are utilized as a fluid pressure signal indicative of the level of such external acceleration.
