摘要： A primary radiator including a waveguide formed by winding a metallic plate into a cylindrical shape and superimposing both ends thereof at a joining portion. Two first flat portions and two second flat portions, extending in the direction of the central axis of the waveguide, are formed so that a first flat portion and a second flat portion alternate at intervals of substantially 90 degrees, thereby forming a total of four flat portions. A dielectric feeder includes a radiator section, an impedance converting section, and a phase converting section. By inserting the dielectric feeder into the inside portion of the waveguide, both side surfaces of the phase converting section are press-fitted/secured to the first flat portions, and both mounting surfaces at the outer peripheral surface of the impedance converting section are press-fitted/secured to the second flat portions, so that the phase converting section intersects at an angle of approximately 45 degrees a probe protruding from the phase converting section in the direction of the central axis of the waveguide.

摘要： In a satellite broadcast reception converter, probes are equipped in a circular hole formed in a first circuit board, and plural fixing holes are formed around the circular hole. Snap pawls are formed at the open ends of the waveguides formed of sheet metal. The respective snap pawls are inserted in the fixing holes of the first circuit board so as to project to the back surface side of the first circuit board, and the fixing holes of the short caps are snapped into the snap pawls, whereby the first circuit board 6 is pinched and fixed between the waveguides and the short caps. Further, a dielectric feeder of synthetic resin supported on each waveguide is constructed by a first split body having a radiation portion projected from the open end of each waveguide and a second split body having a phase converter fixed in the waveguide, and the first split body and the second split body are unified by inserting a projection equipped to the second split body into a through hole formed at the center of the first split body.

摘要： First and second waveguides which have respective axes thereof arranged parallel to each other are respectively held by dielectric feeders. A projection wall or a thick wall is formed as a correction part on a front surface of a waterproof cover which covers radiation parts of the dielectric feeders. Due to such a constitution, when radio waves transmitted from neighboring first and second satellites are converged by a reflector and are incident on the inside of respective waveguides, it is possible to delay a phase of radio waves which pass the waterproof cover by the correction part (projection wall or thick wall) so that it is possible to adjust such that radiation patterns of radio waves which are incident on the respective waveguides are reflected on a common portion of the reflector whereby the required reflector can be miniaturized.

The phase conversion portion of the first dielectric feeder is longer than that of the second dielectric feeder.
