A camera-side mounting surface and a holder-side mounting surface are machined in advance and formed respectively relative to the mounting surface for the photographic lens formed at the camera body and the light-receiving surface of the image-capturing element. By mounting the image-capturing apparatus with the camera-side mounting surface and the holder-side mounting surface placed in contact with each other at the camera body using screws, the light-receiving surface is aligned with the image-forming position of the photographic lens.

摘要： A compact, light-weight electronic still camera that is thin and inexpensive to manufacture, and that can be insertably connected directly into a PC card slot of an external device. The electronic still camera is capable of accepting attachment of a cover member or a camera accessory for assisting the camera function. The electronic still camera includes a camera body, having a slot fitting portion which can be inserted into the PC card slot, or a card-shaped recording medium of the external device. A PC card connector is provided on the slot fitting portion, for connection with an internal connector of the slot upon insertion of the slot fitting portion thereinto. A camera accessory, having a connector for connection with the connector, is so formed as to be mountable on the camera body. The camera body is provided with a phototaking lens, an image pickup device, a memory device for the image signal, switches and a battery. The camera accessory is provided with a second battery and second memory devices.

If it is desired to provide supplementary information during a presentation with the electronic camera, such supplementary information may be overlaid on any arbitrary section of the image being displayed using a pen type pointing device, for example. Furthermore, the supplementary overlaid information may be erased independently from other recorded information as needed because the supplementary information is stored in a different area of memory from the image and memo information.

摘要： An information processing device includes a shooting lens assembly, a photoelectric conversion element, a memory, a display screen, a zoom designation device and an image size changing device (e.g., a controller). The photoelectric conversion element receives light from an object that is collected by the shooting lens assembly and converts the collected light into electrical signals representative of the object. The memory stores image data that is representative of objects. The display screen displays images of the object corresponding to the electrical signal converted by the photoelectric conversion element or images corresponding to the image data stored in the memory. The image size changing device magnifies or reduces an image size of the image displayed on the display screen regardless of whether the image is being supplied from the photoelectric conversion element or the memory.
