    • An electrical connector has a base, a terminal set, a pair of holding pieces, an insulating body and a shell. The base has two holding piece slots respectively formed in two sides of the bottom of base. The pair of holding pieces is assembled into the holding piece slots respectively. Each holding piece is C-shaped and has a notch formed in a rear end of the holding piece and serving to hold a PCB board. A front end of each holding piece is assembled into the base. Given the pair of holding pieces with an assemblable structure, the size of the holding pieces can be tailored to the requirement of customers. The shell is formed by a two-stage of drawing process to enhance overall strength of the shell to facilitate the plating process afterwards.

    • An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, first and second groups of terminals, an adapting circuit board, and extension terminals. The insulated housing is received in the metallic shell and includes a base portion, upper and lower tongue portions, and a partition plate. Upper and lower plug openings are respectively formed between the partition plate and the upper portion of the metallic shell and between the partition plate and the lower portion of the metallic shell. The terminals are held in the insulated housing. The adapting circuit board is disposed at the rear of the insulated housing and includes an upper-row contact set connected to the first group of terminals and a lower-row contact set. One ends of the extension terminals are connected to the lower-row contact set, and the other ends of the extension terminals are extended to the bottom of the insulated housing.

    • A waterproof electrical receptacle connector includes a plastic shell, a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a sealing member (e.g., a waterproof glue block). The plastic shell has a through hole and includes an inserting end and a sealed end respectively at two sides of the through hole. The metallic shell is disposed in the through hole and the metallic shell defines a receiving cavity. The insulated housing is disposed in the receiving cavity. A plurality of receptacle terminals is assembled to the insulated housing. The sealing member is filled in the sealed end to fill a gap between the metallic shell and the plastic shell, and the sealing member is also filled in the bottom of the base portion where the receptacle terminals are exposed for improving the waterproof function of the connector.
