    • An apparatus and method is provided for real-time location estimation of a mobile station (MS) on a map of roads using non-Global Positioning Satellite location data of the MS and includes a step of determining that the MS is stationary. A next step includes assigning each raw location datum with an initial mass such that the data exhibit an attractive force therebetween. A next step includes calculating a net attractive force for all data using a distance between the data. A next step includes moving each datum a normalized step on the map in response to the net attractive force. A next step includes merging any data that are within a predefined distance on the map and adding their masses. A next step includes repeating the calculating, moving, and merging steps until there are no consecutive merges for a predetermined number of iterations. A next step includes removing any datum with a mass less than a threshold. If there is more than one merged datum left, and a total number of iterations is less than a predefined number, going to the calculating step. Otherwise, using a mean of the locations of any remaining data as a location of the mobile station.

    • It is provided a method for decoding a sequence of bits encoded by a LPDC code. The method comprises providing a set of bit states, including a first state and a second state, and a set of conditions to change a bit state including a first condition 5 and a second condition. The first condition and the second condition are different. The method comprises reading the value of each bit of the sequence, associating each bit to a respective state of the set according to the values as read, determining that an evaluated condition is met and changing the state of the target bit as a result of the condition being met. The method may then set the value of the target bit of the 10 sequence according to the state thereof. Such a method provides a solution for decoding a sequence of bits encoded by a LDPC code with better performance than the classic bit-flipping algorithm with only a slight increase in complexity.

    • Provided is a respiratory filter device having a filter module, a connection curved holder, an adjustable curved holder, and a mask. The filter module has a housing body, and both the connection curved holder and the adjustable curved holder have a respective free end and a respective connection end opposite to each other. The connection ends of the connection curved holder and the adjustable curved holder are connected with the filter module, and the free ends face to each other and form an opening between the free ends. The filter module is connected to the connection curved holder and the adjustable curved holder to define an accommodation space adjacent to the opening. Accordingly, the respiratory filter device can be worn on a user's head or neck directly by the accommodation space, for allowing the user to do other work when wearing the respiratory filter device.
