摘要： A paper sheets processing apparatus is provided with a draw-out and conveyance section for drawing out one by one a paper sheet from the paper sheets arranged in a laminated state and conveying said paper sheet, a detection section for detecting each of the paper sheets conveyed thereto to discriminate whether or not it is a normal sheet, or is a soiled sheet, and a reception and pile-up section for receiving and piling up each of the paper sheets thus discriminated in accordance with the detected results of the detection section. The apparatus is further provided with a means for separating normal sheets in units of a prescribed number of sheets to pile up them, a means for supplying a bundling member for bundling each unit of the normal sheets piled up in units of said prescribed number of sheets, and a means for bundling this normal sheet unit by said bundling number. The bundling means includes a pair of roller groups each having at least two rollers, a rotation mechanism for permitting rotation of each roller about the axis thereof, and an integral revolution mechanism for permitting an integral revolution of the roller groups, whereby the normal sheet unit is sandwiched between the roller groups in accordance with the rotating action and the roller groups are integrally revolved, in accordance with the revolving action, with the normal sheet unit sandwiched between the roller groups, thereby to wind the bundling member about the normal sheet unit a prescribed number of times.

摘要： An apparatus for processing paper sheets, in which one lot of paper sheets are set in a supplying section and supplied one after another to a detecting section for sorting these paper sheets into fit paper sheets and unfit paper sheets. The unfit paper sheets collected are manually counted by the operator, and their number is inputted as key-in-data. The inputted number of unfit paper sheets is added to the automatically counted number of fit paper sheets, and the resultant sum is checked up with a preset paper sheet number of one lot. The processed fit paper sheets are received in a temporary collecting section until completion of the checkup of the paper sheet number of one lot.

摘要： In a paper sheet bundling apparatus for a paper sheet processing system, a thermally fusible bundling tape is wound round a paper sheet stack, and the trailing end of the tape is thermally bonded to a portion of the tape wound round the stack by a heating means. The bonding operation is effected on a heat receiving member interposed between the paper sheet stack and the tape wound thereround. The heat receiving member has a back side, outwardly curved contact surface, against which one edge portion of the paper sheet stack is urged and curved along it by a pressing lever in an initial stage of the bundling operation commencing with the rotation of a rotary body.
