    • An attachment piece for a bicycle display device includes an attachment component for attachment to a structural member of the bicycle, a support column fixed at a proximal portion thereof to the attachment component, and a base member having an attachment surface for attachment to the display device. The base member is pivotably coupled to a distal portion of the support column at a location aligned below the center of the attachment surface when the attachment surface is vertical. The support column may extend from the attachment component at an incline relative to a plane that extends through the attachment component perpendicular to a central axis of the attachment component.

    • A control device is configured to be attached to the handlebar of a bicycle for controlling a brake mechanism and change speed mechanism. The control device comprises a bracket fixed to the handlebar, a brake lever pivotally coupled crosswise relative to the bracket and a release lever. The brake mechanism is controlled by fore and aft pivotal movement of the brake lever, while the change speed mechanism is controlled by sideways pivotal movement of the brake lever and the release lever. The brake lever and the release lever are further configured relative to the bracket for smooth easy operation by the rider.

    • A hub is configured to suppress deformation in a disc rotor even if the disc rotor is made thinner and more lightweight, and to suppress wobbling in a braking surface. The hub has a hub axle, a hub shell, a pair of bearings, and a brake mount. The hub shell has spoke attachment parts with spoke attachment holes and disposed at both ends for attaching a plurality of spokes. The brake mount has a rotor attachment unit for attaching a disc rotor of a disc brake. The rotor attachment unit is integrally formed with a first spoke attachment part and is disposed radially farther out than the minimum radial position at which the spokes are attached.

    • An outer gripping portion of a bicycle handlebar includes a mounting section and a bracket section. The mounting section has a first cross-sectional shape. The bracket section has a second cross-sectional shape and is releasably coupled to the mounting section to form a first gripping section. The first and second cross-sectional shapes of the mounting section and the bracket section have flush longitudinal edges that mate together to form a first annular gripping surface of the first gripping section.
