摘要： An arrangement is described with several surge arresters arranged next to one another with their longitudinal axes substantially parallel. Each surge arrester is coupled to a common conductor rail via connecting lines which extend substantially radially away from the longitudinal axis of the surge arrester in a direction opposite to the position of exhaust openings on the circumference of the surge arrester. In the event of an electric arc, a current flowing through the connecting line thus generates a magnetic field which pushes the electric arc away from the surge arrester. The exhaust openings on each surge arrester are positioned so that the electric arc does not occur in the area between two adjacent surge arresters and is pushed away from the surge arresters by the components of the magnetic field. In addition, the direction of flow of the current in the connecting lines forms an angle smaller than 90.degree. with the common conductor rails, so that the current in the common conductor rails also contributes to generate the desired magnetic field.

摘要： A method for converting a movement into an analog or digital variable, in particular into an electrical voltage, and an apparatus for performing the method are proposed. The apparatus includes at least one measuring spring element having windings and fabricated of electrically conductive material, which is disposed together with a supplementary spring element of identical structure and serving as a supplementary resistor in a bridge branch of a carrier-frequency measurement bridge. A deformation of the measuring spring element by a movement causes a change in the spacing between windings and thus causes a change in the inductive resistance of the measuring spring element which serves as a standard for the movement.

摘要： A general method is provided for the production of purified antibodies by separation of an antibody molecule from an antibody variant by chromatographic methods, e.g. to enhance therapeutic efficacy, by for example choosing a specific harvesting time point and/or a specific purification scheme. The current invention thus reports a method for producing an antibody composition comprising an antibody molecule and a variant thereof, comprising the following steps: providing a sample comprising the antibody molecule and a variant thereof, determining the presence of the antibody molecule and/or a variant thereof and/or the ratio of the amount of the antibody molecule or variant thereof to the sum of the amounts of the antibody molecule and the variant thereof, in an aliquot of said sample, determining a subsequent harvesting time point and/or antibody purification scheme on basis of the data obtained before, thereby producing an antibody composition comprising the antibody molecule and a variant thereof.

摘要： Herein is reported a method for the purification of a protein comprising erythropoietin and a single poly(ethylene glycol) residue from reaction by-products or not reacted starting material by a cation exchange chromatography method. It has been found that by employing a cation exchange SP Sephacryl™ S 500 HR chromatography material conditioned to a conductivity of 21 mS/cm and a linear gradient elution a fusion protein of erythropoietin and a single poly(ethylene glycol) residue can be obtained in a single step with high purity and yield.
