    • An arrangement for exchanging supporting or driving rollers of a continuous casting plant with a strand guide including two oppositely arranged roller ways includes a sled that is movable between the roller ways for transporting a roller to and away from a bearing place in one of the roller ways. The sled is equipped with roller seats receiving the rollers and includes means for moving a roller from its bearing place to the sled and from the sled to the bearing place. The roller seats are arranged on the sled so as to be movable transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rollers and they are movable by means of an adjustment device out of a transporting position retracted in the sled into an engagement position projecting out of the sled.

    • A supporting arrangement for casting ladles includes a stationarily mounted permanent base and a rotary base rotatably mounted relative to the permanent base. To each rotary base, a supporting bracket system is hinged via a linkage parallelogram system including pivotable guiding rods. Each supporting bracket system is liftable and lowerableby a pressure medium cylinder. In order to reduce the weight of the supporting arrangement and to facilitate any repair work to be done at the pressure medium cylinder, the supporting bracket system is composed of two independent supporting brackets, each supporting bracket independently being hinged to a lower and an upper guiding rod of the linkage parallelogram system. The upper guiding rods of the linkage parallelogram system, on their ends facing away from the rotary base, are united by a cross beam to a rigid unit U-shaped in ground plan. The cross beam is supported on the pressure medium cylinder by a swivel arranged in alignment with the hinges of the upper guiding rods, which hinges are arranged on the ends facing away from the rotary base.

    • A bow-type continuous casting plant includes a strand bending arrangement arranged below the mould, and a circular-arc guide for the strand following thereupon. The circular-arc guide has oppositely arranged supporting roller ways, and the bending arrangement includes two oppositely arranged bow-structure parts carrying bending and supporting rollers each, and being supported on each other. The distance of the supporting-roller ways of the circular-arc guide is variable in accordance with the strand cross section to be adjusted. One of the bow-structure parts of the bending arrangement is provided with exchangeable roller carriers detachably fastened to it and adapted to different strand cross-sectional formats with their dimensions.
