摘要： A filter element includes a first end cap, a second end cap, and a ring of filter media disposed between the first end cap and the second end cap. The ring of filter media circumscribes a central cavity. The filter element also includes an air-bleed conduit axially extending through the central cavity. The air-bleed conduit includes a first portion integrally formed with the first end cap and a second portion integrally formed with the second end cap. The second portion is configured to fluidly connect to the first portion.

The annular body also includes an outer side surface and an inner side surface that join the upper surface to the lower surface. The inner side surface contributes to defining an endcap-engaging surface of the seal including: a first endcap surface engaging portion that is sized for engaging a portion of an upper surface of an endcap, a second endcap surface engaging portion that is sized for engaging an outer side surface of the endcap, and a third endcap surface engaging portion that is sized for engaging a lower surface of the endcap. The annular body includes an upper portion connected to a lower portion. The upper portion of the annular body of the seal is defined by a rounded seal portion. The lower portion of the annular body of the seal is defined by a flexible tang portion and a flexible leg portion. The flexible leg portion is connected to and extends away from the rounded seal portion. The flexible tang portion is connected to and extends away from the flexible leg portion. An endcap assembly is also disclosed. A filter assembly is also disclosed.

摘要： A filter subassembly is disclosed. The filter subassembly includes an end cap connected to a ring of memory material. The end cap includes a tube-shaped body, a first ring-shaped body, a second ring-shaped body and a third ring-shaped body. The tube-shaped body is defined by an inner radial surface, an outer radial surface, a first axial surface and a second axial surface. The inner radial surface defines a passage extending through the tube-shaped body. The first ring-shaped body extends axially away from the first axial surface of the tube-shaped in a first axial direction. The second ring-shaped body extends axially away from a second axial surface of the tube-shaped body in a second axial direction that is opposite the first axial direction. The third ring-shaped body extends axially away from the second axial surface of the tube-shaped body in the second axial direction that is opposite the first axial direction. Each of the first ring-shaped body, the second ring-shaped body and the third ring-shaped body are defined by an inner radial surface, an outer radial surface and an axial surface that connects the inner radial surface to the outer radial surface. One or both of the first axial surface of the tube-shaped body and the inner radial surface of the first ring-shaped body is disposed adjacent the ring of memory material. The second axial surface of the tube-shaped body, the inner radial surface of the second ring-shaped body and the outer radial surface of the third ring-shaped body collectively define a ring-shaped filter media receiving channel. The second end cap defines a second central opening substantially coaxial with the first central opening. The annular seal is disposed upon the first outer surface of the first end cap and around the cylindrical collar. The annular seal extends axially way from the first outer surface.
