摘要： A transparent fishing hook is shown and described as being integrally formed of a material capable of passing images therethrough. In this manner, the hook becomes less visible against a given visual environment. The hook is shown in several embodiments including several flesh engaging configurations and line attachment configurations. Selection in index of refraction relative to a given body of water in which the hook is to be used enhances the “invisibility” of the hook when used in that body of water. A transparent urethane coating is applied to the transparent fishing hook to improve its resistance to deformation when engaging a fish in use thereof.

摘要： A system for tracking a personal possession or item tagged with an electronic device using a portable electronic device. The electronic device is wirelessly connected to the portable device via Bluetooth and together these two form a geofence. An alarm is activated in the electronic device and a wireless signal is sent by the GPS signal transmitter to the GPS signal receiver activated by the mobile application running on the portable electronic device as soon as the personal possession moves out of the geofence. The alarm notifies the position and the wireless signal provides the location of the lost or left personal possession or item.

摘要： An insertion tool for inserting a catheter into a body of a patient is disclosed. The insertion tool unifies needle insertion, guidewire advancement, and catheter insertion in a single device. In one embodiment, the insertion tool comprises a housing in which at least a portion of the catheter is initially disposed, a hollow needle distally extending from the housing with at least a portion of the catheter pre-disposed over the needle, and a guidewire pre-disposed within the needle. A guidewire advancement assembly is also included for selectively advancing the guidewire distally past a distal end of the needle in preparation for distal advancement of the catheter. In one embodiment a catheter advancement assembly is also included for selectively advancing the catheter into the patient. Each advancement assembly can include a slide or other actuator that enables a user to selectively advance the desired component.

The warming tray can be rotatably attached to the countertop griddle such that the warming tray can be rotatably pivoted from a covering disposition to an intermediary disposition to an open disposition. When in the covering disposition, the warming tray can serve to protect a user from exposure to grease spatter and to receive heat conducted from a cooking surface. During cooking, the warming tray can be rotated to the intermediary disposition such that the user can manipulated the food item being prepared. Finally, the warming tray can be rotated to an open disposition defining a serving tray for receiving a cooked food item. The warming tray can be detached from the countertop griddle when the warming tray is positioned in any of the covering, intermediate or open dispositions.

摘要： Apparatus for delivering a medical device to a location in a patient's body includes an elongate catheter body having a proximal end and a distal end, a pod coupled with the distal end of the catheter body and adapted to house the medical device during delivery to the location and to open to release the medical device, and at least one distal actuator coupled with at least one of the pod and the medical device. The distal actuator is adapted to promote opening of the pod. A method involves advancing a pod at the distal end of an elongate catheter to the location within the body and activating an actuator coupled with the pod and/or the medical device to cause the pod to open. Opening the pod releases the medical device.
