    • In a dimensionally precise electronic component mount, electrical terminals are affixed with dimensional precision to a rigid insulative base. An electronic component is affixed in precisely indexed abutment to the rigid insulative base. A protruding wire of the electronic component is conductively affixed within a v-shaped notch adjacent a notch apex in a second electrical terminal. Embodiments of the rigid insulated base include a flat rectangular plate and a hollow tube having a rectangular cross-section. Contact surfaces and contact pins coact respectively with hybrid substrates and printed circuit boards. Web means coupling adjacent iterated embodiments supports and provides dimensional precision during assembly. An embodiment having a plurality of electrical terminals permits accommodation of an electronic component having a plurality of protruding wires. Mechanical affixation is accomplished alternatively by soldering, welding or adhesives. Electrical continuity is accomplished alternatively by soldering, welding or conductive adhesives.

    • A book holder is disclosed which addresses the unique and heretofore unresolved needs of readers of paperback pocketbooks. In its simplest form, the holder consists of two pieces interlocked so that they are capable of sliding lengthwise in relation to one another. One end of each piece is formed so that when the device is laid upon any flat surface and extended to its most open position, and open paperback pocketbook may be laid face up on top, then the device slid closed to such a position that the formed ends cup over the open pages on opposite sides, thus restraining same for easy viewing. The device includes a detent so as to prevent sliding out of the interlock and falling apart, yet this detent needs be such that it can be overcome with reasonable hand force to allow cleaning or removal of foreign objects.

    • A calendar system for training and enhancing the memory of a person practicing the methodology of the system. Two calendars are arranged side by side. The first calendar is permanent and reused each year. The user notes thereon events of perennial significance for reference at appropriate times throughout each year, thus regularly refreshing the users recollection of these events and enhancing the user's memory thereof. The second calendar is temporary in nature and meant to be replaced at regular intervals. Unlike the first calendar, the second is provided with indicia representative of the instant calendar year, as well as indicia representing the day-names of the week. The user records on this second calendar current and near-future events of transient significance. This second calendar is disposed of and a replacement provided therefor at selected regular intervals since the record of transient event data is not intended for perennial reference. A mounting base, available in multiple forms, maintains the two calendars in close juxtaposition.
