摘要： A banking system is controlled responsive to data included on data bearing records. The system includes a deposit accepting machine for accepting deposit items, such as deposit bags, currency, and checks. The deposit accepting machine includes a card reader operable to read financial account data from cards of depositors. The machine includes a RFID reader that wirelessly reads data from RFID tags on deposited items, including account number and deposit amount data. A computer credits the account for the read deposit amount. The machine, which can also dispense cash, further includes an NFC reader that can wirelessly receive cash loading data from an NFC component on a cash handler's cash transport bag. The cash loading data can include an amount of cash loaded into the machine. The machine can wirelessly transmit to the bag, dispense data that includes the amount of cash dispensed since the last cash loading.

摘要： An automated banking machine includes a card reader operative to read data from user cards. Read card data enables an authorized machine user to select between receiving currency bills that include a programmable tracking device or currency bills that do not include a programmable tracking device. The automated banking machine can dispense the form of currency bills that corresponds to the user's selection. Prior to dispensing a currency bill that has a programmable tracking device, the automated banking machine stores information related to the read card data in the currency bill.

The mechanism includes a clutch assembly that may be disengaged to allow independent movement of either the drawer or the access panel. Subsequent movement of the drawer or the access panel may re-engage the clutch assembly. The clutch assembly includes a housing, a detent plate rotatably mounted to the housing, and a detent mechanism. When the housing and the detent plate are in an aligned position, the clutch assembly is in an engaged configuration. When the housing and the detent plate are offset from the aligned position, the clutch assembly is disengaged.
