摘要： There is presented a method for providing a media content, one embodiment comprising recording a first version of a movie on a first content medium in a first format, encrypting one or more content supplement to the movie, each content supplement having a format different from the first format, embedding at least one encryption key in each content supplement, providing a retrieval code for key data enabling playback of the content supplement, and bundling the content supplement and the retrieval code for distribution with the first content medium. In one embodiment, a flexible format media bundle comprises a first content medium, a first version of a media content recorded on the first content medium in a first format, at least one content supplement having a different format, at least one encryption key, and a retrieval code enabling access to the content supplement.

摘要： There is provided a system and method for distributors to use an interoperable key chest. There is provided a method for use by a distributor to obtain content access authorizations from a key chest or central key repository (CKR), the method comprising receiving a user request from a user device for access to an encrypted content identified by a content identification, transmitting a key request to the CKR including the content identification, receiving an encrypted first key from the CKR, decrypting the encrypted first key using a second key to retrieve the first key, and providing a DRM license for the encrypted content to the user device using the first key for use by the user device to decrypt the encrypted content using the first key. By generating such DRM licenses, distributors can unlock protected content even sourced from distributors using different DRM schemas.

摘要： A method and apparatus for displaying an image that is subject to multiple distortions substantially without distortion is provided. The image is recorded from a first viewpoint and subject to a first distortion and played back from a second viewpoint and subject to a second distortion. The display surface may also be distorted (e.g., curved). By mapping back through the projector to the screen and through the camera (at the viewpoint), the image is transformed so that it can be viewed from the viewpoint with little or no distortion.

There is provided a method for distributing media contents to distributors, comprising obtaining a first key, a second key and a content, encrypting the second key using the first key to generate an encrypted second key, encrypting the content using the second key to generate an encrypted content, generating a key information file including the encrypted second key, generating a universal file including the encrypted content and a first network address for a central key repository (CKR), providing the key information file for storage in the CKR, and providing the universal file to the distributors. The universal file can then be provided to users for digital e-commerce and transferred across different distributors with the CKR negotiating key access for granting new interoperable DRM licenses.

摘要： One particular implementation of the present invention may take the form of a method and system for encoding and/or transmitting high definition 3-D multimedia content. In one embodiment, the frames for each eye of a viewer may be transmitted in a frame sequential manner to a display device, with an occasional null frame included in the frame stream. The null frame may be ignored by the display device and not presented to the viewer. In another embodiment, a synchronization signal may be presented to the display device to instruct the display device on how to display the frame-sequenced frames such that the 3-D effect of the content may be achieved. The synchronization signal may be presented to the display device embedded within the frames of the content or embedded within the null frames. The synchronization signal may also be provided out of band, such as on a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cable.
