摘要： The present invention relates to a process for producing hydrogenolysis products of polyhydric alcohols with a good selectivity and a high yield, as well as hydrogenolysis catalysts used in the production process. The present invention provides (1) a process for producing a hydrogenolysis product of a polyhydric alcohol which includes the step of reacting the polyhydric alcohol with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst containing a copper component, wherein the catalyst is a catalyst (A) containing the copper component, an iron component and an aluminum component, or a catalyst (B) containing the copper component and a silicon component; and (2) a hydrogenolysis catalyst for polyhydric alcohols which includes a copper component, an iron component and an aluminum component, and (3) a hydrogenolysis catalyst for polyhydric alcohols which includes a copper component and a silicon component.

摘要： A starter generator which comprises a rotor having a cuplike-shaped rotor yoke and magnets attached to an inner periphery of the rotor yoke, a stator mounted on a stator bracket and a protecting cover covering said rotor and stator, in which a hermetically sealed casing is constituted by said protecting cover and stator bracket, wherein a plurality of fans are provided on an outer surface of a bottom wall portion of said rotor yoke, a plurality of vent holes are provided through said bottom wall portion, said plurality of fans constitute a centrifugal fan which draws out air inside the rotor yoke through said vent holes and sends the air to an outer periphery of the rotor yoke, and a guide surface which guides the air sent to the outer periphery of the rotor yoke to a space inside the rotor yoke is provided on the stator bracket.

摘要： The disclosure relates to a catalytic converter for cleaning exhaust gas generated from automobiles or the like and more particularly to a structure for securing a catalyst carrier to a casing.In the converter, a casing for embracing, supporting and securing the catalyst carrier is provided with at least one end cover at the one end of the casing in the longitudinal direction thereof, the catalyst carrier is secured to the one end cover, but not secured to the remainder of the casing. The catalyst carrier may be secured to the end cover by sandwiching the flange portion of the catalyst carrier between the vertical step portion of the end cover and a pushing ring via buffering members. Alternatively, the catalyst carrier may be secured to the end cover by pushing a taper bushing having a wedge-shaped cross section into the space between the concave recessed portion provided on the surface of the catalyst carrier and the short pipe portion of the end cover. Mesh washers formed from a knitted metal wire mesh can be used for the buffering members.
