The contact further includes a pair of tabs (39) bent inversely from two side ends of the resilient arm and extends between the retaining portion and the resilient arm. The pair of tabs define therebetween a slot space (391) correspondingly to receive the solder portion.

The universal card slot is comprised of a first surface thereinside and the first group of pins is comprised of a plurality of conducting terminals. Furthermore, the pressing unit is comprised of a contacting portion disposed higher than the first group of pins, a plurality of pivoting portions, and a pressing portion. A plurality of pivoting holes disposed on the surface are connected with the pivoting portion of the pressing unit and the pressing portion abuts against free ends of the conducting terminals. The structure is used to prevent the conducting terminals from improper contact with the inserted electronic card.

A conductive boardlock is secured to the housing and includes a first substantially planar portion having a leg projecting beyond the mounting face for locking reception in a boardlock-receiving aperture in the printed circuit board. A second substantially planar portion of the boardlock has a foot for connection to a ground trace on the printed circuit board. The first and second portions are substantially perpendicular to each other and to the foot for resisting movement of the connector relative to the printed circuit board in different perpendicular directions.

摘要： An ejector system is disclosed for use with an IC card connector apparatus. The ejector system includes a header connector into which an IC card is loaded and from which it is ejected. An ejector mechanism is operatively associated with the header connector and is effective to eject the IC card therefrom. The mechanism includes a push-rod reciprocally mounted on an appropriate support structure with a distal end thereof operatively associated with an ejector lever and a proximal end thereof opposite the distal end. A push-button is pivotally mounted on the proximal end of the push-rod for pivotal movement between an operative position projecting generally coaxially of the push-rod and an inoperative position rotated from the operative position to one side of the push-rod. Complementary interengaging detents are provided between the push-button and the push-rod to resist pivotal movement of the push-button from its operative position to its inoperative position.
