    • A coaxial switching jack with a pair of coaxial assemblies mounted within a housing having a pair of front openings. The coaxial assemblies each include a center conductor and a shell conductor. The center conductors are connected by a first spring and the shell conductors are connected by a second spring. Insertion of a coaxial cable connector within one of the front openings deflects the springs from the corresponding coaxial assembly and disconnects the center and shell conductors of the two assemblies. The jack may also be configured to provide an electrical connection between the center and shell conductors of the second coaxial assembly if a coaxial cable connector is inserted within the first coaxial assembly. The connection between the center and shell conductors of the second coaxial assembly may allow for selection of a desired electrical impedance.

    • A radio frequency signal distribution module and panel for receiving such a module are disclosed. One module includes a housing having a front and a rear, a radio frequency signal input connection positioned on the rear of the housing, and a plurality of radio frequency signal output connections positioned on the rear of the housing. The module also includes a splitter within the housing and connecting the radio frequency signal input connection to the plurality of radio frequency signal output connections. Certain modules include an active attenuation component connected to and providing programmable attenuation of a radio frequency signal output connection from among the plurality of radio frequency signal output connections. Other modules include a data port on the housing, the data port configured to communicate information about radio frequency signals within the module to a computing system remote from the module.

    • Multiple digital audio transformer circuits are included in a module for mounting in a chassis. These digital audio transformer circuits are comprised of a front mounted twisted pair digital audio cable connector and a rear mounted coaxial cable connector, with circuitry including baluns electrically linking the front and rear connectors to reduce the impedance of the signal and attenuate the amplitude of the signal voltage. In one embodiment, the module may also include removable attenuation pads accessible through the front face of the module to allow variation of the level of voltage attenuation. The preferred embodiment of the module bi-directional transforms 110 Ohm digital audio signals and 75 Ohm coaxial signals. If transformation of other levels of impedance are desired, modules may also allow for removal and replacement of the baluns. A digital audio transformer system including multi-circuit modules and rack mount equipment chassis is also provided.

    • A coaxial panel comprising a frame with a plurality of openings and a mounting plate for holding a plurality of coaxial jacks that is mounted to the frame is disclosed. Each mounting plate includes an exterior surface that includes an intermating structure for slidably coupling a first mounting plate to a second identical mounting plate in a sliding direction either in a vertical orientation or a horizontal orientation. The intermating structure configured such that two coupled mounting plates cannot be pulled apart in a direction generally perpendicular to the sliding direction. The coaxial jacks mounted to the mounting plate and the mounting plate include slidably intermating alignment structures for aligning front coaxial cable connection locations of the coaxial jacks with the plurality of openings in the frame.
