    • A battery pack and a method of fabricating the same. The battery pack includes a bare cell including an electrode terminal, a protection circuit board electrically connected to the bare cell, the protection circuit board including a plurality of metal tabs arranged at opposite ends thereof, and a case surrounding the protection circuit board, the case being perforated by a plurality of first apertures arranged at locations that correspond to ones of the plurality of metal tabs. The method includes arranging a bare cell having a cap plate and an electrode terminal passing through a terminal aperture in the cap plate, electrically connecting a protection circuit board to the bare cell, the protection circuit board having metal tabs arranged at both ends thereof and arranging a case to surround the protection circuit board, the case being perforated by a plurality of first apertures that are arranged at locations that correspond to ones of the metal tabs.

    • A battery pack includes a plurality of batteries; a circuit unit for controlling charging and discharging operations of the plurality of batteries; a case for containing the plurality of batteries and the circuit unit, and comprising an assembly of at least two sub-cases; and a submersion checking unit formed on a coupling portion between the at least two sub-cases. By using the battery pack, it is possible to rapidly cope with the submersion by easily checking the submersion of the battery pack, and to easily find the cause of functional deterioration or a malfunction.

    • A polymer battery pack assembly comprising a mounting frame having a first cavity defining a first mounting location and a second cavity defining a second mounting location, the first and second cavities being separated from each other; a top case mounted on the second mounting location, the top case having a third cavity defining a third mounting location; a lithium polymer battery cell mounted within the first mounting location, the battery cell having a positive tap and a negative tap extending beyond the first cavity towards the second mounting location; and a protection circuit module mounted in the third mounting location, the protection circuit module being electrically connected to the positive tap and the negative tap when the top case is mounted to the mounting frame such that the protection circuit module fits into said second cavity.

    • Provided is a battery pack, which can increase coupling force between a holder and a protection circuit board, and improve processability and productivity.
