The apparatus includes information registers disposed in correspondence with the first filters and which store a predetermined number of bits, and includes a condition storage portion that stores second numbers different from each other and section conditions associated with the second numbers. The apparatus includes a determination portion that determines a number range specifying a part of the second numbers for each first filter as not overlapping each other based on the first numbers of each first filter and selects a second number from each number range per first filter based on values of bits in each information register, and a second filter that checks whether the packet detected by each first filter satisfies the section condition associated with the second number determined for each first filter.

摘要： A semiconductor structure and a method of manufacturing a silicon on insulator (SOI) structure having a silicon germanium (SiGe) layer interposed between the silicon and the insulator. According to one manufacturing method, a first SiGe layer, a silicon layer, and a second SiGe layer are epitaxially grown in sequence over a first substrate, and then an insulating layer is formed on the second SiGe layer. Then, impurity ions are implanted into a predetermined location of the first substrate underlying the first SiGe layer to form an impurity implantation region. A second substrate is bonded to the insulating layer on the first substrate. After the first substrate is separated along the impurity implantation region and removed, the first SiGe layer remaining on the surface of the separated region is removed so that the surface of the silicon layer may be exposed.

摘要： An apparatus for replaying a disc-shaped recording medium on which first video data where audio data or all of video information for one frame through MPEG has been compressed, and second video data where video information before and after the frame in question has been compressed have been recorded together with discrimination data indicating the kind of the recording medium, includes a receiver, a replay unit and a display data producing unit. The receiver receives a plurality of disc-shaped recording media. The replay unit is selectively equipped with the disc-shaped recording media which have been received in the receiver, with the relative movement with respect to the receiver. The replay unit includes a head for reading data recorded on the loaded disc-shaped recording medium. The replay unit conducts the replay processing of the data read out from the head. The display data producing unit produces a plurality of display data for conducting a plurality of display indicating the contents recorded on the respective disc-shaped recording media which have been received in the receiver within one screen, on the basis of data or discrimination data recorded on the recording medium such as the first video data or menu data sequentially read out by the reading unit from the disc-shaped recording media which have been loaded into the replay unit.

摘要： In a single-crystal growth method disclosed herein, a melt is first prepared in a container having a cylindrical wall. The container is such that at least the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall is formed of a material which is not wettable to the melt. A seed is then immersed in the melt and a single crystal rod formed on the seed is pulled in such a manner as to be coaxial with the cylindrical wall. The distance between the single crystal rod and the inner peripheral surface is set to a prescribed value G, so that the melt adjacent to the inner peripheral surface is formed into a prescribed meniscus shape. The temperature distribution at the melt surface is controlled to maintain the meniscus shape between the single crystal rod and the inner peripheral surface at an equilibrium state to thereby control the diameter of the single crystal rod.
