The computing unit 10 is also configured to calculate a hitch angle by tracking the position of a trailer-mounted marker in the camera view.

The security system is a passive entry and passive re-mobilization system in which a security controller transmits a command signal LCs to a remote transponder, which replies with a LF response signal LRs. If an LF response signal is not received in response to the transmission of a command signal LCs, the security controller re-transmits the command signal, again as an LF command signal LCs. On determining that a command signal is a re-transmitted command signal, the remote transponder re-transmits the response signal as an UHF response signal URs.

摘要： A security system for detecting the fracture of a pane of glass of a motor vehicle comprising a fracture detector mechanisms in the form of a resilient sealing member. The resilient sealing member, which is normally in physical contact with the glass, has at least one sensor integrally formed therein by molding the at least one sensor into the resilient sealing member. The electrical state of the at least one each sensor, which is monitored by a control mechanism, is changed when the glass is fractured and, upon fracture, an appropriate warning device is energized by the control mechanism in response thereto. An anti-trap device may also be included in the resilient sealing member in order to detect the presence of foreign objects.

A portable transponder 26 carried by an authorised user is adapted to pick up the challenge signal and send back to a security controller 18 a response signal in which is included vector information relating to the relative positioning between the vehicle 10 and the transponder 26.

摘要： A tire pressure monitoring system (12) for a vehicle (10) includes a speed sensor (38) generating a speed signal indicative of vehicle speed, a timer (44) generating a time signal, a warning status memory (26) having warning statuses therein. The system further includes a plurality of rolling tires in respective rolling location. The plurality of rolling tires (14a), (14b), (14c) and (14d) have respective rolling transmitters (16a), (16b), (16c) and (16d). An auxiliary tire (14f) in an auxiliary location has an auxiliary transmitter (16f) that generates an auxiliary sensor transmission signal. A controller (22) is coupled to the rolling transmitters, the spare tire transmitter and the warning status memory (26). The controller (22) receives the auxiliary sensor transmission signal. When the speed is greater than a predetermined speed and, when the time signal is greater than a predetermined time, the controller associates the auxiliary sensor identification to an auxiliary location of the warning status memory.

摘要： A vehicle security system comprises a transmitter 18 for transmitting coded signals, a receiver 16 for receiving the coded signals, and a control unit 14 for operating an engine immobilization system 12 in response to receipt by the receiver 16 of a valid coded signal. The transmitter 18 is arranged to transmit the coded signal as a sequence of pulses of electromagnetic radiation which are amplitude modulated at a modulating frequency, and the receiver includes an audio frequency filter arranged to pass signals having a frequency within a range including said modulating frequency. This allows the filtering out of high powered interfering signals which are of the same radio frequency as used in the system, but which are not modulated at the same audio frequency.
