    • Provided are an apparatus and a method for converting 2D contents into high quality 3D contents at a low cost, and a computer-readable medium thereof. The method of converting the 2D contents into the 3D contents through a content converting apparatus includes: selecting a key frame from among plural frames of 2D contents that are video contents; extracting an object from the selected key frame; assigning depth to the extracted object for conversion into 3D contents; performing tracking on another frame other than the key frame from among the plural frames; and performing rendering on the key frame and the other frame. Accordingly, it is possible to convert 2D contents into high quality 3D contents at a low cost.

    • A 3D-image conversion apparatus, a method of adjusting depth information of the same, and a storage method thereof are provided. The three-dimensional (3D) image conversion apparatus includes a depth information generator which generates depth information with regard to an input image; an object detector which detects an object having parallax exceeding a preset range in a left-eye image and a right-eye image corresponding to the input image based on the generated depth information; a depth information adjuster which adjusts depth information of the object by adjusting the parallax of the detected object to be within a preset range; and a rendering unit which renders the input image according to the adjusted depth information.With this, a viewer's fatigue can be minimized in the case of converting a 2D image into a 3D image.

    • There is provided a method for allocating multiple access channels at the time of call setup in a mobile communication system, wherein the method comprises the steps of: informing a mobile station that a modem of a base station is using one access channel; dividing a coverage area of the base station into a number of sub-areas; allocating a number of access channels such that each of the access channels covers its corresponding sub-area; monitoring the access channels to determine whether an access probe transmitted from the mobile station has been acquired; and if the access probe has been acquired, outputting the acquired access probe to the channel card and releasing the remaining access channels. The method reduces a call setup time and improves the call setup services by dividing a coverage area of a base station into several sub-areas according to a distance from the base station and allocating each of the access channels to the corresponding sub-area so that the search window size of each access channel diminishes.
