摘要： Provided are methods for operating a non-volatile memory controller. A method for operating a non-volatile memory controller includes dividing data provided from a host into first unit data and second unit data, encoding the first unit data into first codewords including n number of bits (n is an integer equal to or more than 1), encoding the second unit data into second codewords including n-w number of bits (w is an integer less than n and equal to or more than 1) corresponding to a bit having a value of 0 among the n number of bits of the first codewords, performing bit-to-state mapping on the first codewords and the second codewords using a predetermined bitmap, and programming the first codewords and the second codewords to a first page and a second page of a non-volatile memory, respectively.

摘要： A display apparatus, a remote controller and a method for controlling applied thereto are provided. The display apparatus receives direction information regarding an orientation of the remote controller from the remote controller, and selects an area to be controlled by the remote controller from among a first area and a second area of a screen according to the direction information received from the remote controller. As a result, user is enabled to control different areas on the screen by appropriately moving the remote controller between different orientations.

摘要： A method for a connection mode terminal to hand over between a home cell and a public cell in a mobile communication system is provided. In the mobile communication system including the home cell and the public cell, a region of the terminal is determined and a random access channel for the handover is pre-allocated. When the normal handover from the home cell to the public cell fails, the access to the public cell is accomplished using the pre-allocated random access channel. Therefore, the handover failure rate can be lowered.
