    • A delivery service system and methods of use are described. The system and methods eliminate needs for a user to wait on a service provider's assistance to determine the cost of sending a package while protecting the service provider with prepayment before delivery. The processes described enable a new efficiency in package delivery wherein the users no longer need to wait in a queue at a delivery service and the delivery service no longer needs to have customer service representatives determining the cost to deliver the package and accepting payment from customers prior to the delivery service accepting the package. Such systems enable automated delivery of packages with minimal human intervention.

    • A space-based electronic data storage and transfer network system is disclosed. The network system includes terrestrial access points, a plurality of geostationary communications satellites, and a plurality of communicatively coupled low-earth orbit data storage satellites. The terrestrial access point establishes a link or communication with a geostationary communications satellite which relays the link or communication to a low-earth orbit data storage satellite for storing information contained within the link or communication. The terrestrial access point can also establish a link or communication with a geostationary communications satellite which relays the link or communication to a low-earth orbit data storage satellite requesting retrieval of information stored within the link or communication. Any low-earth orbit data storage satellite can access data from any other low-earth orbit data storage satellite through the communicative coupling. The network disclosed can be quickly and securely accessed from anywhere on earth.

    • An irrigation system has a master controller and a single backbone pipe with a single isolation valve controlled by the master controller. Branch lines can tap into the backbone pipe and a solenoid valve installed in each branch line, with each branch line leading to plural sprinkler heads. Each solenoid valve is controlled by a respective group controller, and the master controller controls each group controller by addressing “open” and “shut” messages to the group controllers over two and only two wires that run alongside the backbone pipe.
