摘要： A pliers includes a first body with an engaging groove and a second body with an elongated slot pivotally connected with each other. The elongated slot includes a left and right positioning grooves and a protruding portion disposed therebetween. A tap button is pivotally connected to the second body. A supporting member is disposed between the second body and the tap button. When the first body comes close to the second body, the tap button can be tapped to a first position and engaged in the engaging groove. Thus, the first body is blocked and cannot pivot relative to the second body. The tap button can be tapped to a second position and detached from the engaging groove. Thus, the first body is pivotable relative to the second body. A positioning block is extending from the tap button and can be engaged in any of the positioning grooves for positioning the tap button.

摘要： A cigar cutter with an arresting mechanism includes a pivotally connected arresting block and a guide track divided into a smooth groove, an abutting groove with an abutting block having a portion corresponding to a space between two opposite sides of the smooth groove, and a direction-changing groove having a shoulder opposite to the abutting block and two ends in communication with an end of the smooth groove and an end of the abutting groove, respectively. The arresting block can be moved in the guide track. When the cutter enters a closed state from an open state, the arresting block sequentially touches the abutting block and the shoulder, driving itself to rotate. A length between two opposite sides of a rotated arresting block is greater than two opposite sides of the smooth groove, keeping the arresting block from extending into the smooth groove and the cutter in the closed state.

The shaft in the shaft hole has a middle section, a tail section with a thread and a second stopping step therebetween. The bearing is put around the tail section and blocked by the first stopping step. The sleeve is put around the tail section and abuts against the bearing. The bushing is selectively put around a first position or a second position of the tail section. The nut is screwed on the thread of the tail section for pushing both the adjusting bushing and the bearing toward the second stopping step. The lid is fastened in the second opening for pushing both the sleeve and the bearing toward the first stopping step.

摘要： A torque adjustment device of a torque wrench includes a handle having a passage defined axially therethrough, and a driving head is connected to one end of the handle. A torque adjustment unit is located in the passage of the handle and includes a stationary member, a threaded shaft threadedly extending through the stationary member, a rotary member and a spring. The shaft includes a threaded rod that extends beyond the rotary member. A sleeve is mounted to the threaded shaft. A rotary unit includes a tube which has a mounting section and a threaded section on two ends thereof. By rotating the tube, the rotary member and the threaded shaft are rotated relative to the stationary member so as to compress the spring to set the output torque value. A knob is then threadedly connected to the threaded rod to secure the output torque value.
