    • An automotive virtual surround audio system is implemented in an automobile to receive left- and right-channel audio sources. A synthesizer receives the left- and right-channel audio sources to extend the sources into temporary rear-left and rear-right audio sources. A weighting device receives the left- and right-channel audio sources to perform a weighting operation and produce temporary front-left and front-right audio sources. A first filter receives the temporary front-left and front-right audio sources to perform a filtering operation and produce virtual front-left and front-right audio sources. A second filter receives the temporary rear-left and rear-right audio sources to perform a filtering operation and produce virtual rear-left and rear-right audio sources. Thus, the virtual audio image position is reproduced.

    • A brake device for a power tool has a brake assembly, a bearing portion, a pinion and a gearbox. The brake assembly includes a brake base, a cover, a first throttle cable, a second throttle cable, a brake-activating block, a brake-guiding pillar, a brake band and a brake drum. The first throttle cable, the brake-activating block and the second throttle cable are linearly connected together in series. The brake-activating block is designed to abut against the brake-guiding pillar in a brake position and a release position, respectively. With the relative movement among the first throttle cable, the brake-activating block and the brake-guiding pillar, the abutting or separating state between the brake band and the brake drum can be easily controlled.

    • A brake device for a chain saw is provided, wherein a driving shaft, which passes through a brake block, a torsion spring, a driving block and a chain wheel, is assembled with a driven gear, and two ends of the torsion spring are respectively fixed to the brake block and the driving block. The driven gear is loosely fit to the brake block, and the chain wheel is fixed to the driving shaft. When the driven gear is driven to rotate, the brake block, the driving shaft and the chain wheel are brought to rotate synchronously. When a force is applied to the brake block via a brake pin, the torsion spring will deform and separate from the driving block so that the driving block fails to transmit a driving force to the brake block, and thereby the braking effect is achieved.
