    • A syringe delivery system for dispensing a highly viscous material through a syringe delivery opening includes a syringe barrel having a delivery opening, a plunger stem including a threaded shaft that threadably engages a proximal end of the syringe barrel for selectively dispensing a viscous material through the delivery opening, and a sheath. The sheath is rigidly attached with the plunger stem so that the plunger stem and sheath rotate together in unison relative to the syringe barrel. The sheath and syringe barrel may enclose the plunger stem. In order to dispense a viscous material, the syringe barrel is rotated relative to the sheath, causing the syringe barrel to be progressively received within the sheath and simultaneously forcing the plunger stem further into the syringe barrel so as to dispense a viscous material from the delivery opening.

    • A dental device configured for curing light-curable compounds includes an extension portion conforming along a first axis, and a handle portion conforming along an intersecting axis, the axes forming an obtuse angle. An LED light source is disposed on the extension portion, and faces away from the obtuse angle, though rotatable embodiments allow for other configurations. The LED light source may include transilluminating lenses for filtering out undesired radiant energy. The dental device may include finger controls for controlling the emission of light from the LED light source of the dental device. A remote power supply connected with the dental device provides power to the dental device without increasing the size or weight of the dental device.

    • A dental treatment system comprises membrane treatment tray that is self-conforming to a person's own teeth when used with a sticky dental treatment composition and a support skeleton. The support skeleton maintains the flexible membrane tray in the form of tray prior to placing the tray over a person's teeth. A sticky viscous composition is either provided in or applied to the membrane tray, and then the treatment system is placed so as to position the membrane tray over the upper or lower teeth of the person. The support skeleton (internal or external) is separated from the membrane tray so that just the membrane tray remains over the person's teeth during the desired dental treatment. The sticky viscous composition holds the membrane tray against the teeth and helps it to at least partially conform to the shape of the teeth. The membrane dental tray is useful for teeth bleaching and other dental treatments known in the art.

    • A syringe system includes a first syringe having a barrel with a tubular tip formed at the end thereof. The tubular tip has an exterior surface with a pair of spaced apart first threads outwardly projecting therefrom so as to at least partially encircle the tubular tip. A second syringe has a barrel with a collar formed at the end thereof. The collar has an interior surface with engagement threads projecting therefrom. The collar is configured to receive the tip of the first syringe such that the first threads can selectively threadedly couple with the engagement threads. A pair of second threads project from the exterior surface of the tubular tip so as to at least partial encircle the tubular tip, the second threads being longitudinally spaced apart from the first threads. The second threads can be rotated, shifted, or otherwise shaped into a variety of different configurations so as to aggressively engage the engagement threads in frictional bias when the first syringe is coupled to the second syringe. In an alternative embodiment, the second threads can be replaced by a ridge which is contigured to frictionally engage with the engagcment threads.
