摘要： A method is disclosed to acquire imaging and non-imaging datasets from like objects. A linkage is found using a partial least squares (PLS) technique between imaging and non-imaging datasets. The linkage is then reduced to an expression of a single numerical assessment. The single numerical assessment is then used as an objective, quantified assessment of the differences and similarities between the objects. The data each dataset can be aspects of performance, physical characteristics, or measurements of appearance.

摘要： Systems and methods for evaluating prospective treatments for progressive brain disorders like Alzheimer's disease and the progressive effects of aging involve the use of an imaging device communicatively coupled to a computing device. The imaging device may takes a plurality of brain imaging measurements from each of a plurality of human subjects who are divided into a treated group and an untreated group based on various subject data including whether the subjects carry certain alleles of genes known to increase the risk of developing the brain disorder at issue. The computing device receives the brain imaging measurements from the imaging device and applies an advanced processing method that permits enhanced computational efficiency when calculating rates of change for the two groups and determining whether any calculated difference between the rates is statistically significant.

摘要： Automated alerts for medical indicators are provided. Electronic medical records may be stored in memory and monitored. Each electronic medical record may include data regarding a patient and may be updated to reflect current status of the patient. A plurality of alert rules may be provided, each of which identify a set of indicators regarding an elevated risk of death. The monitored electronic medical records and associated updates may be evaluated in light of the applicable alert rules for the patient. It may be determined that one of the electronic medical records matches one of the alert rules. In response, a real-time alert is sent to one or more individuals designated for the patient whose electronic medical record is determined to match one of the alert rules. The real-time alert may be associated with a report indicating the alert rule and associated set of indicators that were the basis for the alert.
